A good morning routine starts with water!

Although drinking water is very important for our body, many of us don’t drink a recommended water intake during workday. Expert recommend to drink about half your body weight in ounces in a day (in my case I need 1.5 liters of water OR 8-10 glasses a day)

With that in mind, I’d like to encourage you to hydrate the body as a morning ritual you can start today.

Things that are good for my health before I start my day:

1. Drink 8 ounces of room temperature water.

My logic behind this; because sleeping is an act of fasting. (well, kinda!)

Think about when you sleep for 6-8 hours, your body doesn’t consume food or liquid at all. So it’s  important to rehydrate by drinking your first 8 ounces of water as soon as you wake up. Besides, I feel like I reached my first “win” in a day by nourishing my body with water!

2. Drink lemon honey tea.

Lemon has been my friend for so many years! When I need energy boost, need to combat common cold, or increasing my immune system, drinking lemon honey tea is my go-to home remedy. It is easy to make, and it’s a natural anti-oxidant you can consume and has a great benefit for a healthy skin.

3. A cup of java with MCT oil from Bulletproof

Yes, I need a cup of coffee to get me going. Plus, I just can’t resist the smell of freshly brewed coffee beans when I wake up.
